today is my birthday, but I have work, and then an all essay, very ungrad-like, midterm exam before any fun stuff. boo.

oddly enough that is my second birthday greeting from belgium this morning. makes me feel a little bit better about living in Ohio.
I wish I were in Belgium right now. With all this post-election anxiety, I braided and braided and braided my hair this morning. After four more years, my hair will be permanently braided to my skull.
