my job

I don't often hear people saying the things that I say about my job.

examples:

"So I walked out onto the playground today and..."

Also I say many stupid things...(seriously more than usual)
ABC's the remix
ABCDEFG (Suzy, turn around and sit down) HIJKLMN (warning # 2 at #3 you have a time out) OPQ RST UVW XYZ. --did anyone notice the first typing of this where I missed the letters U and V. whew. Its tough mastering this academic content. Especially when you change the meter of the ABC's for someone as rhythmically challenged as I am.

We do this weird OCR clapping version where you clap after the G, N and then Q, T,X and Z to avoid the old elemenopee conundrum.

I've managed to lose your email address (can't figure out which Nancy you are on the address list).

Of course I know which Nancy you are in the comments. Sorry I haven't checked in lately but I do lurk.

You're right about transition. We've been talking about high school since seventh grade. We have a good junior college here and that might be a possibility down the road.

I worry about her as an adult, especially if I'm not around. It's not too early to start talking about that type of transition (jobs, independent living, etc.)

In some of the more, shall we say, "deprived" schools my mother occasionally works at if she's called in to do supply, it's more like "A...sit down, George...B...Tommy, stop trying to hit Luke with a chair...C...Emma, stop trying to stick your fingers up Joes nose...D...Emma, now whacking Joe over the head with your book isn't much of an improvement, is it?...E...Kenny, I've already told you........"

Get the drift?

She feels your pain.

I miss you and michael!!!!!!!

I need to call sometime soon, but I picked up this church gig that is a weekend-eating monster and now I officially have no free time.
